Welcome… I’m Melody!

I am a registered psychologist, completing my Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at The University of Adelaide in 2019. Since then, I have gained experience working closely with clients predominantly within private practice settings.

I have a passion for supporting and working with individuals across all stages of life to enhance their mental health and wellbeing. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and warmth, creating a space where individuals can feel safe to explore their personal goals.

Therapy for many can be an opportunity to slow down, creating time and space to pause, reflect and gain insight which can lead to meaningful change in life. Utilising a collaborative approach, I endeavour to work in a way that feels aligned with the goals of each individual.

I work primarily with Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based approaches, drawing on scientific evidence-based treatments while also considering the emotional, social, and physical aspects of wellbeing. Therapy can often involve deep reflection and work but I also value moments of lightness and creativity, integrating these where helpful to make the process more engaging and authentic.

I am grateful to share this space with clients, witnessing growth, resilience, and self-discovery, and supporting each individual on their mental health and wellbeing journey.

“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we’ll ever do.” — Brené Brown
